MY SUCCESS – I lost 10 lbs
I wanted a personal trainer because I felt like I was doing some of the right things, but I needed guidance. I was running twice a week, and had just completed my first half marathon in January. However, I could not lose the 10 lbs. that I knew I needed to lose. I have two herniated disks in my lower back and wasn’t sure how to go about training.
When I started with Melissa, I weighed 153 lbs. She gave me instructions on what to eat, how much, and exactly how many calories. I was thrilled to have the tools finally to accomplish my weight loss goals. I loved the workouts, she talked and laughed and it was fun (and hard). I knew going in every week I was accountable because I had to weigh-in and it kept me on track. Every week she would check my food “log” and let me know what I was doing right, and what I was doing wrong. (Yes, I found out a bottle of wine is 600 calories).
